We are delighted to share that the Library Orientation Program, organized in collaboration with the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (ADS), was successfully held on Tuesday, 24 June 2025, at 3:00 PM in the Conference Room (Room No. 302).

The session was designed to introduce students to the library’s extensive resources, services, and facilities—including access to scholarly databases—while promoting effective academic engagement and supporting their academic journey with practical guidance.

The program began with a warm welcome by the anchor, Ms. Samia Sikder, a student of the same department. Following the introduction, Ms. Wahia Tasnim, Lecturer, Department of ADS, delivered an insightful speech, emphasizing the Library as a true academic companion, always available to support students in their learning and research endeavors.

Next, Mr. Ashiqur Rahman, Deputy Librarian, offered an inspiring address, encouraging students to make the most of the Library for academic enrichment and intellectual growth. He also shed light on the unique role a university library plays compared to other academic libraries, highlighting how it can shape students' academic experiences.

The session concluded with a practical and engaging presentation by Ms. Zakia Sultana Tamanna, who demonstrated how to explore the Library's printed and digital resources, including e-books, scholarly databases, study zones, library rules, and other essential services.

The program ended on a note of appreciation from the Deputy Librarian, who warmly invited all students to visit and explore the Library in person.
